Churrascaria Terra Gaucha. The name Terra in Portuguese means, earth or land. The word Gaucha comes from the Gaucho culture, a culture that dates back hundreds of years in South America. Gauchos are the equivalent of Cowboys.
Gaucho people enjoy living in the land, growing crops and raising livestock. This life provides them with freedom, that only a simple yet rewarding life in the farm can provide.
Churrascaria is the term in Portuguese to describe a restaurant that serves meats in the traditional Gaucho fashion, where various cuts of meat are grilled and served table-side to patrons.
Born in the “Pampas” (Southern region of Brazil), Terra Gaucha concept revolves around “churrasco,” a traditional grilling method using open flames and various cuts of meat.
Today, we proudly keep the flame alive using authentic gaucho seasonings and natural wood charcoal to roast succulent beef, lamb, poultry and pork.
Emerging from the collaboration of very hard-working individuals committed to quality of food and customer first mentality, Terra Gaucha opens its doors to the public in Jacksonville, FL and Tampa.
In addition to our grilled meats, guests enjoy a gourmet salad and sides bar featuring the freshest vegetables, a variety of cheeses and cold cuts.
During the dining experience, each guest is transported to “Southern Brazil” with no passport required!
They are pampered from start to finish. The “Terra Gaucha familia” would like to invite you for a unique experience that will make a lasting impression.
